Music MinistryJoin together in song, under the talented direction of our choir directors. Rehearsals for English Choir on Tuesday evenings, 7pm in the Hall. Sing at 11am Sunday Mass, as your schedule allows. Rehersals for Haitian Choir on Thursday evenings, 7pm in the church. Sing at 1:30pm Sunday Mass. Contact the choir directors. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. Offertory CountersA group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Parish Pastoral CouncilThe PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of both Parishes. Senior Altar ServersMen and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community. Stations of the CrossHeld at Saint Angela's Thursdays at 6:00pm in English in the Chapel and 7pm on Fridays in Haitian Creole, during Lent in the Main church. At Saint Matthew's, Fridays 7pm in the Church. UshersVolunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection. Altar ServersBoys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy. Baptism PreparationPreparing parents for the formation of their child’s faith. Eucharistic MinistersExtraordinary Ministers of Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Fellowship CommitteeVolunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year. Flowers and GroundsVolunteers who care for and beautify the grounds and church. GreetersParish volunteers who warmly welcome parishioners as they enter the Church for Mass. LectorsReader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Liturgical Linen ServiceResponsible for the preparation and care of the altar linens. This includes the washing and ironing of purificators, corporals, and altar linens. RCIARite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. SacristansDuties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass. Food PantryProvides foods every Saturday from 9-12pm, at Saint Matthew's Church Hall. |
